In the Beyond, there were countless rumors regarding the Land of Abandoned Celestials as people would refer to it as a doomed land, a cursed land, or an isolated land. Either way, the Land of Abandoned Celestials was seen as an ominous place that cultivators would never think of visiting. Even though numerous Destiny—shining with world-illuminating lights—might sometimes spawn in the Land of Abandoned Celestials, there were even more dangers in the land.

As a matter of fact, it would be difficult for those who had yet to reach Enlightened Noble Realm to enter the land. Compared to other regions that contained terrifying auras, the small village that was protected by the towering peach tree seemed extremely safe as if it was paradise.

The village—full of strange individuals—was named Peach Village.

At that moment, Gu Xianer, dressed in green, was standing beneath the peach tree. She appeared extremely delicate as her flawless face looked stunning. She was here to say her goodbye to the peach tree. The peach tree was the village’s Guardian Spirit, and even her odd, mysterious masters highly respected the peach tree.

Regardless, Gu Xianer was quite close with the peach tree. Back when she used to be a weak little girl who always got sick, she was treated by the peach tree’s essence. To her, the peach tree was a dear senior.

“Are you certain that you want to leave? You are only at Honoured Nobility Realm, and that’s honestly not so strong in the Beyond. The heirs and disciples of various factions and Cults of Immortality are unquestionably stronger than you.” A branch of the peach tree swayed as a sweet, gentle voice of a woman was heard questioning Gu Xianer’s intentions.

With that, Gu Xianer nodded and confidently replied, “Sister Tao Yao. I have to leave here. I need to find my grandfather, parents and the people of my branch. It has been so many years. I wonder how they are living now. They are probably defeated by my uncle and exiled, no longer able to rerise.” As she said that, traces of anger surged in her eyes.

In fact, she was aware that a member of a Family of Immortals could still be superior over that of an ordinary faction or clan despite being exiled. Nonetheless, as they were removed from the core of influence in the Beyond, their lifestyle would greatly change, and they could no longer be as intimidating as those still in the Gu Family.

Hence, apart from revenge, she had another purpose—to look for her parents as well as grandfather and restore the prosperity of their branch. Also, to give her uncle the taste of his own medicine.

“Of course… Most importantly, this beloved brother of mine.” Remembering that, she felt a tingle in her heart as flashbacks of her bone being seized popped up in her mind. Her brother was ever so ruthless. She, as a little girl, loved him deeply, following him everywhere he went, only for him to seize her Daoist Bone. Every time she was reminded of such an incident, she would get exasperated at her insanely apathetic brother. Thus, she must get her revenge.

“This vengeance is between you and him, so it’s all up to you.” The voice came from the tree again.

Gu Xianer nodded. “I know, Sister Tao Yao. This is a private matter between the Gu Family and I. You and the masters mustn’t interfere.”

“Glad that you understand. But don’t you worry. Even though there are countless strongmen in the Beyond, those who are truly strong wouldn’t dare to lay a finger on you. Although your masters are certainly quirky, only a few would dare to trifle with them,” the peach tree stated with an incomparably tender voice. Indubitably, she didn’t mention herself because her origin was more ancient and mysterious than that of humans.

“Understood, Sister Tao Yao. The masters have been great to me. Not only had they taught me so much all these years, but they also opened my mind, and thus I’m deeply grateful to them.” All of a sudden, she felt warmth surging in her heart. Unlike her emotionless brother, her masters blessed her with the gift of compassion.

“Sadly, there’s not much I can help you with. Since this is between you and the Gu Family, no matter how much we wish to help you, the most we can do is defend you from a few big people…” Because Gu Xianer was about to leave, the peach tree spoke more than it usually did today. With that, a peach flower dropped from the tree.

“Take this with you. It may save you in critical time. If anyone recognizes it, they’ll remember to refrain from troubling me,” the peach tree claimed.

“Thank you, Sister Tao Yao.” Gu Xianer was moved as she accepted the peach flower. There were seven petals altogether and each of them resembled the craftsmanship of a godly artisan as they glowed with heavenly light and were obviously mystical. Since the peach tree said so, she naturally felt relieved.

Soon, she bid farewell to everyone in the village before turning to the prosperous lands in the Beyond. Her eyes seemed rather relaxed yet determined and at the same time heroic.

“Before I left, Grand Master gave me a sword and told me to use it if I can’t beat my brother. Second Master gave me a rope that can trap anything and told me to use it if I can’t beat my brother. Third Master…”

Before Gu Xianer departed, she made a loud kowtow toward the village entrance. “I shall return after everything is dealt with.

Having said that, she left along with the old servant who took her away from the Gu Family as she summoned an alarming beast and departed on the beast.

With that, her weird and mysterious master appeared at the door as they watched her. They were truly odd as they consisted of blind, deaf, amputated, or limbless individuals who possessed immense power. Although regrowing their limbs wouldn’t be any problem, they didn’t do so for some reason, which was either they were unwilling or unable to. Regardless, it was undeniable that the origins of these individuals were stupefying and their presence in the prosperous lands of the Beyond would surely cause a turmoil.

If Gu Changge was present in Peach Village, he would surely blame the creator of the world for mistreating him.

Obviously, Peach Village’s history was unimaginably terrifying.

At that moment, the masters were in a discussion.

“Oh, the sweet little girl we have been raising for more than ten years is gone just like that. Who knows how long it will take for her to return…”

“The grudge is between her and the kid, so we’re in no position to interject. But Xianer is too kind and naive, and her being a girl makes her an easy target to take advantage of. I still can’t comprehend how we came to raise a disciple with such a personality.”

“That’s not a problem. Xianer has a nice personality.” Hearing that, an old woman with a wrinkled face countered as she gazed at her peers. “She’s destined for great things, so it’s only right that we treat her with love, but little did we know, she bears such intense hatred within her. Her brother, on the other hand, was quite a character, being so cold despite his young age. The Gu Family has always been honorable for generations. How did things turn out this way out of nowhere…”

As the villagers were conversing, expressing their concern for Gu Xianer. They felt as though Gu Xianer was their own daughter who decided to spread her own wings all of a sudden, and there was no telling how long she would be gone. Her masters’ worry resembled that of the parents of a child.

“What if she comes back with a man? I fear I might slaughter the man… As I predict, such a thing just might happen…” Suddenly, a blind old man among the group felt somewhat butthurt.

The prosperous lands of the Beyond knew no borders. It was divided into Inner Domain, Middle Domain, and Outer Domain, and they were categorized into a strict pyramid hierarchy.

Inner Domain was extremely wide and its resources were uncountable. Countless factions existed in Inner Domain as it was also where Cults of Immortality and numerous factions were based.

Middle Domain, although inferior to Inner Domain, was also enormous and rich in resources.

As for Outer Domain, although it wasn’t as magnificent as the previous two, it was also a highly prosperous region as innumerable forces were based there where relationships between those forces were complex.

Meanwhile, at the borders of Outer Domain were the intersections between the Beyond and the Overworld. Being far away, the borders of Outer Domain were where cultivators, who ascended from the Overworld, would land most of the time. The regions were also the favorite spots of many huge forces as those were the free hunting grounds for exceptional slaves whom they would eventually send to the mines.

Except for certain highly hazardous, lifeless forbidden areas, where no beings dared to get near to, cultivators were found everywhere in every region.

In the meantime, in Xiling State of Outer Domain, Ming Lao appeared out of thin air in the sky.

“According to Young Master Gu’s order, the branch of the Gu Family that was exiled should be in Xiling State…” Ming Lao said as he speedily scoured the region.

Habitually, Outer Domain was divided into states, and each state occupied up to thousands of square miles of lands. A being of Enlightened Noble Realm could easily annihilate a fraction of Outer Domain, and no other being that rivaled their might could be found in any state, whereas Ming Lao, a being of Enlightened King Realm rarely showed himself in Outer Domain anymore in recent times. However, he didn’t bother to conceal his aura.

*Zoom!* The terrifying aura of Enlightened King Realm instantly surged as if the Godly Spirit showed itself, immediately leaving the formidable strongmen within the ancient city dumbfounded as the hearts of the cultivators in the city violently trembled.

“Why would a being of the Enlightened King Realm be here? How shocking…”

“Where did he come from anyway?” Many countless were stunned in fear.

In fact, a being of Enlightened Noble Realm was already virtually omnipotent, so what someone of Enlightened King Realm was capable of was unquestionably even more terrorizing. A being with such a high power level could destroy an entire town with just a thought.

Swiftly, a group of beings of Enlightened Noble Realm appeared in the sky with their utmost respect and admiration on their faces. Since the appearance of a being of Enlightened King Realm in Outer Domain was a one-in-a-million occurrence, they figured he must have come with a purpose.

“To what do we owe the pleasure, Master?” They respectfully inquired.

“In the name of our young master, I am here to look for an individual from the Gu Family. Do any of you know a person with the Gu family name in Xiling State?” Ming Lao blandly asked.

“A person with the Gu family name…”

In the huge land of the ancient city, Gu Xianer, who came from the Land of Abandoned Celestials, overheard the question and immediately grew anxious. She just arrived at the ancient city to look for the exiled branch of the Gu Family, only to bump into such a happening.

[Young master? Gu family name? That is precisely my precious brother!] Gu Xianer emphasized on the word ‘precious’ in her mind.

“Lady Xianer…” The old servant behind her was also stupefied.

“What are the odds? Someone came to look for me right at the moment I left the Land of Abandoned Celestials…” Gu Xianer remained composed as she tensed her brows.

She then turned to the red little bird sleeping on her shoulder. The bird was the beast that she rode from the Land of Abandoned Celestials to hurry to the ancient city. Although it was unquestionably powerful, whether it was able to take on a being of Enlightened King Realm remained a mystery.

Gu Xianer’s old servant, on the other hand, was only Partial-Enlightented Realm.

[Am I going to need to use my masters’ items this quickly?] Nonetheless, Gu Xianer decided to remain unaffected as she intended to watch as things escalated.
