Sylvia arrived at the Administration Floor with Kokoro and Luka.

This visit was arranged by Kousuke, when Sylvia was free. As for the children, they naturally wanted to see their father, but they had other higher priorities.

Naturally, it involved Kokoro receiving a Divine Blessing from Goddess Clara. They were there to let Kousuke verify how it affected her.

There was more to that as well.

Kousuke was also planning to guide Kokoro on how to use a Divine Oracle Tool that he created for her. He could have given it to Kokoro directly, but Luka, who was with them, might have sulked not having received a similar tool from him.

That was why Kousuke decided to invite all three of them, so Sylvia could explain to Luka what the tool was and why she did not receive one.

On her own, Kokoro would not be able to understand the tool that Kousuke had given her, and Luka would have mistaken it for a toy.

However, if Sylvia explained to Luka that it was a necessary tool for Divine Oracles, Luka would be able to understand and not get upset.

Under Kousuke’s tearful consideration as a parent, he had to hold back on making one for Luka.

“So, how is Kokoro?”

Sylvia asked Kousuke, who was watching Kokoro.

“Un, there doesn’t seem to be any problem. Well, I wasn’t worried about it since I had already checked with Clara.”

“I see.”

Sylvia nodded in reassurance at Kousuke’s reply.

The Goddess Clara was one of the top ten Goddesses, not that far from the top three.

Sylvia was also told by the Goddess that there would be no problems, so she was not worried, but having the assurance of Kousuke made her feel even more assured.

“I’m going to go and make new equipment for Kokoro, so please wait here for a while.”

“Yes.”

After Kousuke said so, he went into his laboratory.

While the two parents were conversing, the two children were playing with Nana, who had come to visit.

“Mother, what is this?”

Kokoro tilted her head as she accepted the Divine Oracle instrument offered by Sylvia.

Sure enough, Luka, who was standing next to her, was looking at the Divine Oracle tool with an excited expression.

“Didn’t Clara-sama give you an oracle before?”

“Yes!”

“This is a tool that makes it easier to talk to Clara-sama. It is an important tool to talk to Clara-sama, not a plaything.”

Luka’s face immediately lost interest in the Divine Oracle Tool. It was as if she was looking at a tool to receive a sermon from Sylvia, who normally worked as a priestess.

Luka had no desire to speak directly with the Goddess. Though, that might be because she was too young to understand what it truly meant by being able to speak to a God.

Incidentally, Luka had been strictly instructed not to talk about anything related to Gods outside the house, so it is unlikely that she would ever talk about the Divine Oracle.

Even if she was about to slip up, the fox assistants with her would definitely stop her.

But these days, such mistakes have been almost non-existent.

“Can I talk to Clara-sama with this?”

“Yes, but it is a little difficult to use, so you may need to practice.”

“I will practice hard! I will try my best to talk to Clara-sama!”

“Alright. I’ll show you how to use it.”

“Yes!”

Sylvia explained how to use the Divine Oracle Tool, and Kokoro was trying her best to listen. As for Kousuke, he was watching them, completely relaxed.

Since they did not usually live together, Kousuke was happy to see the children and Sylvia in such a state. Leaving Sylvia to explain how to use the communicator, Kousuke decided to go check on Luka, who had gone to play with Nana.

Luka, who was playing with Nana in another room, immediately noticed Kousuke entering the room.

“Father, what’s wrong?”

“Hmm? Nothing, your mother and Kokoro are studying hard, so I came here to play with you.”

Luka’s face lit up when Kousuke said that. At first, she only thought that Kousuke was going to join them and talk about difficult topics.

“Really?”

“Yes. I wouldn’t lie about something like that.”

“Yes!”

Kousuke raised his hands and patted Luka’s head in joy.

[Luka must be feeling lonely since I have been unable to spend time with her regularly. I wanted to do something to alleviate her loneliness, but as a living god, it is difficult for me to abandon my duties…].

After playing a simple board game with Luka, Kousuke went back to the conference room where Sylvia and Kokoro were.

Since they were going to have a somewhat serious conversation, they had used that room from the beginning.

When Kousuke entered the conference room, Kokoro was staring at the Divine Oracle tool with a difficult expression on her face.

Kousuke could tell from the expression on her face that things were not going well, and he looked at Sylvia, who was sitting next to Kokoro, to confirm this.

Sylvia received his gaze and shook her head from side to side.

It appears that things were truly not going well.

“Kokoro.”

Kousuke gently called out to Kokoro, who was looking grim.

Kokoro, however, was probably concentrating too hard and didn’t notice Kousuke’s voice after just one call.

“Kokoro, can I have a word?”

“Yes? What is it, father? What’s wrong?”

Kokoro looked at Kousuke with a surprised expression, perhaps not realizing that Kousuke was there.

“You know, Kokoro, you can’t connect if you just concentrate, okay?”

“What? What should I do then?”

“Think of the time when Clara-sama gave you the Divine Blessing.”

Kokoro tilted her head at Kousuke’s words.

“The time I received Clara-sama’s Divine Blessing?”

“Yes, when you received the Divine Blessing, she said a few words to you, didn’t she? How did Clara-sama speak to you?”

“How did she…?”

Kokoro meditated as if remembering the time when she received the Divine Blessing from Clara.

Kokoro still remembered that moment clearly. She was meditating when she suddenly felt something warm inside her body.

She wondered what it was and when she turned her attention to that warm object, she suddenly heard a woman’s voice.

Kokoro was so surprised that she told his mother, Sylvia, about what had happened, and Sylvia told her that the woman who had spoken to her in the oracle was the Goddess Clara.

Kousuke asked her to remember what happened then.

Kokoro wondered if she would remember the warmth she felt at that moment. She closed her eyes once more and tried to remember that time in her mind.

This time, she felt the Divine Oracle tool, which had not been responding to her request, become warm.

Kokoro thought that the heat was similar to the heat at that time.

As soon as she thought of this, the heat went from the Divine Oracle tool through her palm and traveled through her body.

[Can you hear me?]

The next moment, when Kokoro felt like the heat had completely circulated through her body, she heard the same voice that she had heard that time.

It was a strange sensation, as if the voice was coming from inside her body, as if it was coming from the Divine Oracle.

“Yes! I can hear you.”

[Kukuku. Don’t be so nervous, okay?]

“Yes.”

[I’m sorry to leave you now, but you won’t be able to continue conversing, so that’s all for now. If you practice hard, we will be able to talk some more…]

The conversation lasted only about a minute, but Kokoro felt as if it had lasted longer.

Unfortunately, Clara’s last words were cut off, and Kokoro was unable to hear the rest.

Kousuke checked up on Kokoro, who had relaxed into a posture as if she had lost all her strength.

“It seemed to have gone well, didn’t it?”

“Yes, yes! But I couldn’t really hold a conversation with her.”

Kousuke put his hand on top of Kokoro’s head, who slumped her shoulders in disappointment at how brief and one-sided the conversation had been.

“It’s okay. You are still getting used to it, so it can’t be helped. Let’s practice a lot more and learn to speak a lot more.”

“Yes!”

Kokoro nodded broadly at Kousuke’s encouragement.
