Out of all the women he knew, Wang Zijin was most likely the only one who would ask him that. Even the others such as Yue Mingkong, Jiang Chuchu, and Yin Mei would never ask such a direct question.
Alas, Gu Changge’s only answer was a shake of his head. While he did ask Jiang Chuchu about Wang Zijin’s situation, it was not quite related to her idea of thinking about her.
Gu Changge was not truly a heartless person, but he did not think he and Wang Zijin were that close in the first place. Even though there were things that happened between them, for the most part, they were both gauging each other’s attitudes and intentions. He only approached her, a Fortuitous Lady, to fulfil his own goals. As for Wang Zijin, she took the initiative to approach him mostly out of curiosity rather than attraction.
“Perhaps my answer will disappoint you. Nevertheless, I have always been a cold and selfish person. Why would you expect someone else of me?” Gu Changge shook his head as he smiled mockingly. His eyes were still once more.
He picked up the drunk Wang Zijin.
The Immortal Bamboo Forest was vast and the servants had retreated. Even Queen Lunar and the Sky Deer Goddess had gone off and did not hang around nearby.
Gu Changge planned on taking Wang Zijin somewhere for her to rest. Considering her cultivation level, a mouthful of immortal wine was enough to give her a considerable boost in cultivation. She would not awaken for several days.

Previously, King Luo was in full supportive of his interest in pursuing Wang Zijin. King Luo had even brought it up with an Immortal King Ancestor from the Wang Family. So, why was he saying this now after returning safely from the banquet?
Luo Xuan could not comprehend what was happening. He was confused.
He thought King Luo summoned him because he had something important to share. After all, before leaving for the banquet, King Luo had been prepared for the possibility of never returning.

Wang Zijin did not leave Queen Luna Residence with the rest of the Wang Family. Even the two Immortal Kings from the Wang Family dared not ask any questions.
The Immortal Kings were no fools. They could easily deduce the relationship between the two from the way Wang Zijin treated Gu Changge.
“Yes. I understand.” Luo Xuan felt chills down his spine. He could tell from King Luo’s chilly tone that his reaction displeased the Ancestor.
