Kousuke was on the back of Kou, the Flying Dragon, for the first time in a while, along with Kouhi and Mitsuki.

The sky they were flying through was above the Town on the Fifth Floor of Amamiya Tower.

Incidentally, Kouhi was using magic to hide them from those below.

[It has grown so big!]

The control room also allowed Kousuke to see the state of the different Floors, but seeing it with his own eyes had an incomparable impact.

[I can see that the population of the town has increased so much that it’s incomparable to the beginning.]

As they looked down on the town from above, the three of them were conversing using Divine Power, telepathy.

The town on the current Fifth Floor was centered around a castle, spread out as a castle town. The central part of the town had become a high-class residential area with houses lining the streets belonging to the influential and powerful. If not, shopkeepers of towns in the Central Continent.

Outside this was a general residential area, and even further out were the workshops for artisans.

The main street that crosses the town in a cross shape is lined with shops that cater to each area. Naturally, the closer one got to the center of town, the more shops selling luxury goods.

At first, all the shops had been under the influence of Crown, but now, that number has been reduced to about half.

The townscape was basically planned and developed before Razequa Amamiya was founded, so it was made up of beautiful, well-defined sections.

Kousuke liked messy townscapes, but looking down on a town like this from the sky was also a fun experience.

[I came here just to have a change of pace, but it’s fun to see it from the sky like this, too. To think this place started with just a few dozen people, right?]

The town had grown into a metropolis with over 700,000 inhabitants. In terms of population, it was not quite in the top five, but even so, no one would believe that a town could grow from nothing to what it currently was in just over a decade.

As expected, some people were already calling the town on the Fifth Floor the “Miracle Town”.

Kousuke, who was looking at the town that spread out around the castle, then turned his eyes further outwards.

In the area located upstream from the river that flows through the town, there were fields that supplied food to the Central Continent.

This was a production area, entirely handled by the Production Department of Crown.

The amount of crops produced within the Tower was far greater than the amount produced in Kennelsen.

The dream of the Six Lords of Kennelsen, to achieve self-sufficiency within the continent, had already reached the point where it was no longer a dream.

To support such a massive production, the fields being cultivated around the Fifth Floor were not the only ones being used. Production areas have already spread to the Fourth Floor as well.

However, the Fourth Floor was essentially just a pure production area, with only facilities such as farms and dairy farms. There were also lodgings for adventurers to stay in while they hunt monsters that appear in the surrounding area.

Currently, the production areas on the Fifth and Fourth Floors alone could provide for most of the continent’s agricultural needs. However, the population of the Central Continent was gradually increasing, probably due to the stable food supply that did not rely on imports from outside the continent.

In line with this, the production area has been further expanded upon.

[Seems like the production is keeping pace, but are they dealing with the monsters properly? The monsters that appear on this Floor can be defeated even by beginners, so there doesn’t seem to be a shortage of those who can fight against them.]

In the first place, there was no end to the number of people who came to the Fifth Floor, where Crown Headquarters was located. Most of them being adventurers. The bulk of which had just been registered.

This was because the monsters that appeared in the Lower Floors of the Tower were easy for beginners to defeat. Within the Central Continent, if one walked around outside towns or villages, it would not take long for them to encounter monsters that were too strong for beginners.

In some cases, such monsters could even be found right next to the town.

Compared to that, it was safer to hunt the monsters around the production areas, where the Level of the monsters were fixed.

Of course, fighting monsters was still a matter of life and death. At least, there were enough adventurers to maintain the production district.

After looking around the inside of the Tower, it was time to go outside.

It had been a long time since Kousuke flew outside the Tower on a Flying Dragon. Kou, who was carrying him on her back, seemed delighted to be flying around.

It was difficult to tell whether the Dragons were feeling any difference between the Floor where they lived on in the Tower and the space outside the Tower.

Without any particular goal in mind, Kousuke and the others continued to fly above the Central Continent, getting rid of the monsters that occasionally attacked them as they flew through the sky.

Kouhi’s concealment spell was still in effect, so they did not need to worry about them being seen by others below them.

Kousuke had been flying without even stopping to have lunch. That was when Mitsuki noticed something.

This was just as they were flying along the coastal highway.

[It looks like someone is being attacked.]

It goes without saying what was attacking.

[Do you think we’ll make it in time if we go help them?]

[It depends on what you do with Kou.]

[What if Mitsuki goes ahead on her own?]

[We’ll make it in time. It doesn’t look like they’re in a particular disadvantageous situation right now.]

[Seems like they’ve just engaged.]

Kouhi followed up on Mitsuki’s words.

[In the meantime, I’ll send Kou back to the Tower, so go help them.]

[Okay.]

Upon receiving Kousuke’s instruction, Mitsuki immediately descended after getting off the Flying Dragon, and rushed to the scene.

Kousuke used his Teleportation Spell to send the Flying Dragon back to the Tower, and then rushed to the scene as well.

By the time Kousuke had gotten close enough to see, the battle had already been decided.

“This feels nostalgic.” Kousuke smiled and spoke to Kouhi.

“I guess so.” Kouhi also laughed.

The same thing happened when Kousuke first arrived, then met the two, before they set off for Ryussen.

Kousuke suddenly remembered that the merchant he met at that time was Schmidt.

Schmidt was now the head of the trading division at Crown. Looking back, it could be said that it was a strange coincidence.

By the time Kousuke and Kouhi approached, the trading fleet was already ready to depart.

The attack probably did not have much of an effect on the trading fleet itself.

It appeared that they had been waiting for Kousuke and the others to arrive.

Kouhi whispered to Kousuke, when she saw the adventurer standing next to Mitsuki.

“That’s the adventurer Gozen.”

Even so, Kousuke did not immediately. After recognizing who it was, he suddenly remembered.

“No way!”

“Yes. He’s the leader of the adventurers we met earlier.”

The reason why the trading party had waited instead of leaving became clear.

Gozen, who remembered Mitsuki, had stopped the caravan from leaving when he realized that Kousuke and the others were coming.

Gozen, who had not seen them in over a decade, looked at Kousuke and Kouhi as they approached, and raised one hand in a nostalgic gesture.

“Hey, it’s been a while.”

Kousuke could not remember him clearly after all this time, but it seems like Gozen remembered him really well.

Nevertheless, Kousuke greeted Gozen with a wide smile.
