The sudden appearance of the Yang Jun-kicking girl at the Foundation Establishment Realm let Wang Qi feel, from her aura, that she was even above Su Junyu and Xiang Qi.

[Zimiao is finally reliable for once…] Wang Qi relaxed, slumping on the ground.

The girl turned around and waved energetically, “Hi there?”

Wang Qi’s first impression of her was “big”.

She looked to be around eighteen, absolutely adorable. What was even more prominent was her hefty chest. As she swung around, Wang Qi had a clear view of jiggle physics doing its thing on her chest.

“Such incredible… force…” Wang Qi muttered.

At this moment, Yang Jun rose to his feet. The girl, a cultivator from the mid-Foundation Establishment, frightened him so much that he fled as soon as he stood up. At least his mind was in a further mess than before, since he ran by the girl’s left side.

“You’re not going anywhere!”

The girl waved, and vines shot from the ground to coil around Yang Jun.

A hissing sound echoed as the vines touched the scorching Yang Jun, followed by burning up.

The girl gasped and threw a flower. It exploded in a shower of pollen, forming a barrier that restrained Yang Jun’s movements. Moments later, Yang Jun emerged from it like it was nothing.

Wang Qi felt like pointing out. “Yang Jun must be possessed. His spiritual power is under entropy amplification for no reason, burning spiritual energy to release high heat. Common magical arts won’t work.”

“Such an extreme form of entropy amplification?” The Foundation Establishment girl gasped, “It defies Dao! Even a devil is a type of living being in a way. How can…”

The girl forgot about the fleeing Yang Jun, biting her thumb in deep concentration.

Divine Province’s concept of living beings was far grander than Earth’s. Spirits made of pure spiritual energy, rocks gaining awareness to become demons, and malignant zombies born of yin qi were all considered living beings in a broader sense.

Earth defined organisms, or living things, as: an entity that, under natural conditions, is capable of sustaining itself and reproducing through chemical reactions, as well as being able to reproduce living descendants.

The definition of Divine Province was significantly different from that of Earth.

A living being was a negative entropy phenomenon. Based on the second law of Scorching Heaven Manor’s three laws, the world underwent regular disorder, resulting in a continued rise in entropy. In contrast, living beings absorbed the world’s effects, reducing its entropy to stabilize it. Different metabolic processes, for example, are negative entropy procedures.

Yang Jun’s high level of entropy surpasses that of living beings.

Mao Zimiao flew over, yelling, “Little Qi! Are you alright? Did anything happen?”

Wang Qi waved her off, but the pain prevented him from getting up. “Ow, ow, ow, I forgot about the wound on my shoulder.”

Mao Zimiao teared up. “Thank heavens, I made it on time…”

Mao Zimiao’s arrival roused the focused Foundation Establishment girl. She facepalmed. “Right! I need to catch him first.”

With a wave, the girl released a green mote of light. The mote transformed into a vine, coiling around Yang Jun.

“A spiritual power-transformed vine, he-he. Living beings are negative entropy events. My magical art is derived from the path of life, a direct counter to this guy.” The girl rubbed her nose, explaining her magical art with pride.

Yang Jun flayed under the constricting vine, the heat he released driving the vine to tighten further. The more he struggled, the harder it was for him.

Mao Zimiao couldn’t hide the shock as she looked at him. “Is that… Yang Jun?”

Yang Jun’s body had lost its human appearance due to the burning away of his skin and the subsequent peeling of his flesh by Wang Qi’s light bullets. Gray tissue appeared every time to fill in the gaps in his body, but there was something unnatural about it. Yang Jun was nothing more than a walking pile of tumors.

Wang Qi nodded.

The girl ran over and rubbed Wang Qi’s face hard. “Oh, Junior Brother, I didn’t get to introduce myself. I’m Ai Dinglan, yes? Ai Dinglan! You must be Little Miao’s little boyfriend, right, right? From Little Miao’s look…”

“Senior Sister Ai!” Mao Zimiao blushed and snapped at her.

“Oh my, why so shy?”

Wang Qi winced and pushed Ai Dinglan away to look elsewhere, “Urk…”

“Eh?” Ai Dinglan furrowed her brows, with a soft and slender finger resting on her chin. “Do you find me disgusting, Junior Brother?”

Wang Qi wanted to explain, but his stomach was heaving like a sea, unable to stop vomiting.

Ai Dinglan looked hurt. “You’re clearly close with Little Miao. Is it because I don’t have catears?”

[Holy hell, is that what I’m known for, being a beast ear lover?]

Wang Qi couldn’t speak, rolling his eyes instead.

“Puking and rolling your eyes… But you’re quite close friends with Qiqi. You know, that one from Scorching Metal Valley.” Ai Dinglan wracked her brains, trying to find something tying it all together as she placed a hand on her bountiful chest. “Junior Brother, are you disgusted by girls with big chests?”

[While I admit there’s value in rarity, that doesn’t mean I have a flat-chest fetish! How does your brain even work, woman?]

Wang Qi wanted to gesticulate an explanation, but sharp pain assaulted his limbs. A stabbing pain worked its way into his every joint. Wang Qi groaned and collapsed.

Mao Zimiao panicked. “Senior Sister Ai, stop with the jokes. Little Qi looks hurt from the fight.”

“Fine, fine.” Ai Dinglan complained, placing a finger on Wang Qi’s head to insert a sliver of spiritual power.

Mao Zimiao tensed. “How is he?”

“All good and peachy!” Ai Dinglan smiled. “A great deal of luck, maybe?”

Mao Zimiao asked, “What great luck?”

Ai Dinglan smiled. “The kid is training in many mental arts, but the major one is the same as yours, Evolution Chart. He must’ve taken an entropy amplification attack and relied on Celestial Entropy to cancel it, but his spiritual power’s flow is still chaotic. But we, Evolution Chart cultivators, have an advantage.”

Mao Zimiao was impatient. “That’s a sign of deviation! How could…”

“Tch, tch, tch, this is a sign of life!” Ai Dinglan kept smiling, pointing at Wang Qi. “Cultivation deviation is a disaster, but for the Evolution Chart, disaster brings with it the chance of advancement. It is indeed a great deal of luck!”
