The Violet Supreme Alchemy Pill was legendary in the Upper Realm. One could even call it an Immortal Pill due to the unique method of creating it. News of it has even been floating around even countless epochs ago.
Furthermore, its astonishing medicinal effects allowed cultivators to break through several consecutive cultivation realms. It was even said that the pill could allow one to surpass the limitations of their Innate Talent and reach even greater heights.
However, precisely due to the miraculous effects of this pill, it incurred Heavenly Retribution. Even the pill formula was destroyed and lost in time.
The Violet Supreme Alchemy Pill was deeply connected to the reason why the Violet Supreme Alchemy Sect could become a major Alchemy Sect in the Upper Realm.
When Gu Changge sent Lin Qiuhan to the Violet Supreme Alchemy Sect, it was mainly because he did not want to waste her talent in alchemy. He also wanted to use the sect to cultivate her. He only found out about the Violet Supreme Alchemy Pill later on when Lin Qiuhan told him about it.
“We can start making the pills once we find the complete pill formula, suitable materials, as well as the right alchemy furnace. However, there would be some failures at the start… The environment of the world hasn’t gone back to what it used to be like in the past. It’s possible that an Alchemy Tribulation might hit when we’re creating this pill. Although some of the effects of the pill might be affected, it should still be shockingly effective.”
Lin Qiuhan’s slender and graceful figure was covered in a plain-coloured robe. She wore just a slight touch of makeup.
Her eyes gleamed with excitement as she talked about creating the Violet Supreme Alchemy Pill. After all, it was a legendary Immortal Pill that every alchemist wanted to create once in their life. Even just a glimpse of the pill formula alone would make their lives feel worthwhile such that they could die without regrets.
“I’ll get someone to find the right alchemy furnace, and if that doesn’t work, we can just make a new one,” Gu Changge said with a light nod.
In order to create a pill like the Violet Supreme Alchemy Pill, the alchemy furnace had to be a fairly high-grade one. Even if it could not be on quite the same level as a Nirvana Grade Artifact, it could not be too far behind.
The people around Gu Changge could not cultivate as quickly as he did, but he would find ways to provide them with as much help as possible.
Yue Mingkong, Jiang Chuchu, Gu Xianer… Although they were quite formidable when compared to others of the young generation, in Gu Changge’s eyes, they were still far too weak.
They were a long way away from being Sacred Emperors, let alone Quasi-Nirvana Realm experts, True Daoists, or even True Immortals.
The arrival of the Age of Immortal Ascension was an opportunity for every single cultivator. The young generation of today was alarmingly talented and all of them worked hard in the hopes of grabbing onto a shred of opportunity for themselves.
“I won’t let you down, Young Master,” Lin Qiuhan declared with a solemn expression.
With her current level of mastery over alchemy, she was confident she could make the Violet Supreme Alchemy Pill.
Gu Changge nodded. He had faith in her. He had been the one who had brought her up from the Lower Realm. Even though he rarely came to see her in the many years since then, her loyalty to him had never wavered.
“I have already instructed people to gather the materials. Someone will be delivering them to the Violet Supreme Alchemy Sect. I will also make the necessary arrangements for the surrounding Star Territories. No one will disturb you while you make the pills.” Gu Changge filled her in. He was eliminating any potential factors that could affect the process.
Lin Qiuhan knew that the whole Upper Realm was currently in turmoil with some of the Alchemy Sects having been wiped out.
Lately, the Sect Master and Elders of Violet Supreme Alchemy Sect had been quite anxious. They were afraid that the Sect would be quashed as well.
In peaceful times, no one would dare to offend Alchemy Sects as they were distanced from worldly affairs and had a lot of powerful connections as well. However, right now, even the Immortal and Supreme Forces were being exterminated.
Those who had journeyed to the distant Resplendent Universe intending to seize the opportunity to ascend to the Immortal Realm all fell to miserable ends. Few came back alive.
A Force known as Dark Heaven swiftly rose and barrelled through the Upper Realm. Many Forces were swallowed up or annihilated, and anyone who heard the name Dark Heaven would feel weak in the knees.
Naturally, Lin Qiuhan knew what was happening. She had her own share of worries too. As it was, she did not know that the master of Dark Heaven, the one that left the entire Upper Realm trembling with fear, was currently standing in front of her.
For now, Gu Changge had no intention of telling her these things.
After leaving the Violet Supreme Alchemy Sect, Gu Changge headed to Chaos Star Territory to see the two sisters, Ji Qingxuan and Su Qingge.
Su Qingge had been living here ever since her cultivation was sealed. She had a serene courtyard to herself where she played her musical instrument every day. Over time, she managed to find peace.
Previously, her cultivation of the Demonic Arts had affected her state of mind. Furthermore, she always regarded Gu Changge as her source of hope and her pillar of support in life. She never thought that she would simply be one of his pitiful pawns. Her entire world had collapsed when she found out, and that was why a demonic barrier formed in her heart.
During her time at Demonic Mountain, Chan Honyi’s words almost succeeded in influencing her and she nearly became possessed. However, she now had a sense of detachment from worldly affairs. When Gu Changge came, she showed neither fear nor regret. She was able to act as if all the things in the past had never happened.
“Congratulations on your marriage to Empress Mingkong, Young Master. It’s a pity that I couldn’t witness the wedding ceremony myself.”
Su Qingge was dressed in white. She had silky hair and a fair face. Her features were flawless, and her aura ethereal, just like when they were back in her homeland in the Lower Realm.
Gu Changge smiled and said nothing. Truth be told, he initiated contact with Su Qingge with every intention of using her.
It was not just her. That attitude applied to everyone around him.
Even after he found out that Su Qingge was the Successor of Demonic Arts, he went along with it and used her as a pawn.
Su Qingge considered him her only source of support and the one she could rely on. She believed that his kindness towards her had always been genuine. It was why her world fell apart from how cruel everything seemed when she learned the truth from Chan Honyi, and that led to the demonic barrier in her heart.
Naturally, Gu Changge did not hold it against her, or otherwise, he would have made sure she died on the Battlefield of Hundred Worlds. He would not have brought her back to Chaos Star Territory.
Throughout his life, he schemed and plotted against many people and used many of them too. He was rarely ever sincere with anyone, or rather, almost never.
Even when it came to Yue Mingkong, Jiang Chuchu, and Gu Xianer, he started off with ulterior motives too.
Gu Changge certainly had no right to give his opinion on how others should treat him. Even now, he did not regret what he did.
“These days, you look much better than before.” He looked at her beautiful face, which was just within reach, and smiled softly. Then, he lifted the restriction on her cultivation. He did not say anything or provide an explanation.
Su Qingge stared blankly as Gu Changge’s sleeves gently swayed. It took her quite some time to snap out of her daze.
“Thank you, Young Master,” she whispered to herself after a moment of silence.
Based on her understanding of Gu Changge, the fact that he did not kill her at once was already the greatest mercy he could have shown her. It was an act of gentleness, even.
During this time, she played music every day to improve her mental state, and she had long since made peace with everything.
In this world, everyone strove with the goal of crossing over to the other shore, be it for others or themselves.
Gu Changge had his own way of getting there and so did she. She had no right to dictate what she wanted from others.
Everything was a matter of personal choice, and similarly, the consequences of one’s choices were one’s own burden to bear as well.

I like how resolute gu changge is to his ideals. His mind won’t change based on a fleeting emotion which I see a lot of mcs do and it lowkey tends to ruin whatever I’m reading for me
