The Fortuity of various Forces are burning brightly, and their great will to live illuminates the world. The world is glorious, and the future is bright. There is no guarantee that we will be totally helpless against the Great Purge.” Uncle Yi, a member of the Remnants of the Immortal Palace, opened his mouth. Taking a step forward, he walked to the front and declared in a sonorous yet firm voice.
Likewise, the Master Elder tried to voice his own opinion. He solemnly mused, “Senior, seeing how powerful you are, you should know that everything depends on one’s efforts. There are too many Variables in the future. If the future has been determined, then why did the Mountains and Oceans True World revive us?”
At his level, he naturally understood that the revival of so many ancient figures was not an accident. It could be said that the phenomenon was the Mountains and Oceans True World’s survival response to protect itself from the imminent Great Purge.
“Even with how gigantic this world is, there is nothing we have never seen before. We saw Forces that surpassed the era when the Immortal Palace was at of its peak glory. The representatives from each Force clamoured over each other to express their opinions without fear.
It was unimaginably tough for them to uproot their entire Force and travel to the Boundless Expanse with their strength. Furthermore, what was there outside the Boundless Expanse? Where would they go? Would they encounter a disaster along the way and be annihilated? Would they end up buried in the ruins of history?

Just as the others were trying to persuade the Gu Family’s Founding Ancestor otherwise, a brilliant ray of Immortal Light suddenly burst out from a cave in the east of the Immortal Domain and rose into the sky. The aura was turbulent and explosive, covering the sky and blocking out the sun.
Rumbling thunder emerged at the same time. Like an extensive Ancient lightning field, various magnificent and glorious phenomena materialised. There were ancient palaces, pavilions, temples, and even the outline of a Lightning Pool. Everything was faint and blurry.
Purple light penetrated the sky, enveloping the universe in light. The luminescence was incredibly dazzling. Lightning also pierced through the clouds, and the entire universe seemed to be filled with Immortal Light as a result.
Countless frightening Heavenly Tribulations emerged one after another in an endless cycle.
Seemingly life-like figures of peerless cultivators from ancient times stepped forward and reappeared in the world once more. Raising their hands, they attacked the figure who was overcoming the Tribulation.
This figure was a rather young-looking handsome man. He was in high-spirits and full of energy. Opening his mouth, he released a howl which shattered the thunder and lightning raining down on him.

Many people noticed the disturbance and were taken aback for a moment, then they immediately became regretful instead.
Heavenly Tribulation for the Quasi-Immortal King Realm was not something that everybody could experience. Only those who cultivated for a long time and overcame certain shackles of the True Immortal Realm had the qualifications to touch upon this.

The Master Elder in tattered clothing was astonished too.

Even though he had almost reached his First Decay Tribulation, he discovered that everything before him had gone hazy. He could not figure out the origins of that youth.

“That seems to be the Successor of the Wang Family, Wang Wushang. How is he already undergoing the Heavenly Tribulation for the Quasi-Immortal King Realm? Did he encounter some sort of life-changing opportunity recently?”
When King Luo recognised ‘Wang Wushang’ at this moment, the astonishment on his face was hard to conceal.

A Variable is unpredictable and impossible to imagine with common sense. What ordinary person would spend their entire life trying to reach might only require a single thought from such a being…”
His explanation startled everybody, especially Cen Shuang, Ao Ling, and the others.
Would that not mean… If this person was truly the Variable, then he might only need a few years to quickly grow and develop. Then, he could pick up the banner and protect the Mountains and Oceans True World?
The thought made everybody excited. If that was truly the case, then there was nothing to worry about. Rather, should they not do their best to ensure his growth?
The Gu Family’s Founding Ancestor might have the same thoughts, but he voiced his opinion in a thoughtful manner, nevertheless. “Judging by the current situation, there is such a possibility. The birth of a Variable is too rare, to the point where it is almost an impossible occurrence.”
His words may be true, but hope began to burn hope in their hearts once more.
While their conversation was taking place, thousands of thunders and lightning dissipated around Ni Chen, who was undergoing the Heavenly Tribulation. He sat cross-legged in the starry sky. All the energy in the sky flooded in his direction, permeating the sky like smoke.
The universes reverberated, and the Great Dao hummed in resonance. Dazzling rays of light surged throughout the world and constantly converged in his direction. Even the World’s Will seemed to manifest into being at this moment, and the Dao Light was incomparably bright. An auspicious scene descended and enveloped him in a churning torrent.
He seemed to be immersed in his cultivation and paid no heed to other external matters. Nevertheless, his heart was filled with delight. He never imagined that his aura would be assimilated with the Mountains and Oceans True World to such a great margin after he seized and possessed part of the Star Territory. Moreover, he had been given blessings which stabilised his cultivation now that he had advanced into the Quasi-Immortal King Realm.
Many were horrified. They could feel that Ni Chen’s cultivation was changing. Although he was only a Quasi-Immortal King, he was no inferior to some of the Immortal Kings.
“I wonder if he is a Variable…”
The Gu Family’s Founding Ancestor, who had been monitoring Ni Chen the whole time, stepped forward. The a golden path appeared beneath his feet with every step. He instantaneously arrived in front of Ni Chen and opened his mouth to speak.
