“Don’t be scared.” Bai Yue smiled. [Ah’Miao still feels threatened to be in his presence.]
Ah’Miao thought, [Just why am I scared of Father? I have Senior’s backing!]
Ah’Miao shed all her fears and walked from behind Bai Yue with hands on her hips.

Ah’Miao could not react as he grabbed her in a hug.

“Mist Province Jian Qian is revered and likes you. Tying the knot would be good for you.” Mist Province Lord sighed.
He wished nothing more than for his Daughter to live a good life, but as Mist Province Lord, he knew more about Jian Qian than others.

He was of full belief nothing could kill Jian Qian, not on this continent at least.

“He did not leave, but irked Myriad Mountains’s Senior, and the Buddhist Flames scorched him to ashes as he committed suicide.”
Mist Province Lord went bug-eyed. “Suicide? What?!”
