Bai Yue eased a breath and gave a curt bow. “The situation on the outskirts of Myriad Mountains is complicated and I ask that you all calm down before you suffer untimely demise of your own making.”
The Demon Kings blinked in confusion.
The Flood Dragon growled, “There’s no danger in these pathetic areas. Now that the Immortals left, we have nothing to fear!”
He managed to stir the others back.
“He is right, nya! Just some Immortal Traces aren’t enough to scare the likes of us! A cultivator must be behind it, nya! Once I get my hands on him, I’ll peel his skin from his flesh, nya!”
The speaker was a Cat Demon, moving past and taking hold of Bai Yue from behind out of the blue with her quick movements. “Bai Yue, how long has it been?”

The Cat Demon tilted her head and wore a cutsie smile. She had short, blond hair, coupled with a slender figure in a tight leather package, with a small pair of cat ears on top completing the adorable look. The swaying cat tail behind her was very distracting as well.
The Cat Demon smiled and let go of Bai Yue, exploding with killing intent.
Her slender fingers formed a claw and her hair stood straight, like a hissing cat. “Damn bastard, nya! I was so close to the 6th layer when my cave was drained of Spiritual Energy, nya!”
Ah’Miao’s anger resonated with the other Demon Kings. The calm washed away in an instant, replaced with growls and violent Demonic auras Hellbent on one thing only.
To eat Chen Changan’s flesh.
To drink Chen Changan’s blood.
To suck Chen Changan’s marrow.
Bai Yue glanced at the riled cat, “Ah’Miao, relax and listen to Grandmother.”
The Fox Demon Empress spoke in a low tone. “The chances are it’s Soaring Immortal Mountain’s Senior that robbed Myriad Mountains of all its Spiritual Energy.”
“Isn’t that a outskirts’ mountain?”

The Demons knew Fox Demon Empress was not one to lie. The Demons were struck dumb, unable to get a word out.
The Senior killed Immortals and they wanted to go over to give his last rights, only now they realized this was suicidal. They gulped, their hearts shaking in their chests. Their fangs were gone, their tails sagged, and their heads were hung in defeat. Gone was the anger and rashness.
The Fox Demon Empress knew they were scared and shook her head.
Bai Yue added, “Senior is kind and elegant, carefree and mild. He must’ve had a very good reason for taking Myriad Mountains’ Spiritual Energy.”
The Fox Demon Empress nodded. “Since everyone is here, we can pay respects together.”
“Right, do you know that Hong Yi, She Zini, and Touba Ye are now under Senior?”
They all knew those three, for their strength and power, but to find out they bent the knee for someone was indescribable. They felt envious. What got them really excited were Fox Demon Empress’ next few words.
“Senior helped Touba Ye become a Golden Immortal. Not even I can best him now.” She sighed in admiration and envy. For even she wished to work under Chen Changan.
