The Ghost Immortal clutched Ah’Miao’s throat, stopping her from making a single sound.

She grimaced in pain, feeling the shadow of death looming over her. Ah’Miao’s heart plunged in despair. [Is this how I die, nya?]

“Ah’Miao!”

Bai Yue, Fox Demon Empress, and other Demon Kings rushed over.

“Humph, you don’t know your limits!”

The Ghost Immortal clawed and black mist lashed out like five whips of crackling thunder.

The lashes were swift and precise, one of the Immortal Arts he knew – Five Thunder Lashes.

Space ripped apart and mountains sundered under their might, to say nothing of the Demons ever being able to block them.

They were all flung aside like garbage.

The Ghost Immortal was unstoppable.

Hum~

At least, the Demons’ interventions bought Ah’Miao the time she needed to bring back the cauldron for another strike.

The cauldron was as huge as a mountain, increasing in size so much that it blotted the sun. At the same time, a drop of golden blood fell from between Ah’Miao’s brows. The golden blood flashed with mystical power.

The next thing she knew, she vanished from the Ghost Immortal’s clutches half a mile away.

Ah’Miao paled, having used all her strength, and fell, exhausted.

Bai Yue was there to hold onto her. “Ah’Miao, talk to me?”

Ah’Miao squeezed a smile, “I’m fine, nya. Father gave me a drop of blood essence to flee.”

She glanced at the Ghost Immortal as mist flew out of the cauldron with incredible power and surrounded the devil.

He turned dark as he fought to resist. Since he was ready for this incredible Artifact, it could no longer threaten him.

“The Mist Province Cauldron won’t last for long. We have to go, nya!” Ah’Miao spoke.

The Nine Swords Sect, Bai Yue, Ah’Miao, and the Demon Kings came to understand just how powerful the Ghost Immortal was. Far beyond anything they could ever employ. They had no hopes of defeating him, only to die for nothing.

With no hesitation on their part, they fled to Soaring Immortal Mountain.

With the Mist Province Cauldron keeping him busy, he couldn’t move. “Accursed filth, I will skin you alive and feast on your flesh!”

As the cauldron’s aura decreased, the Ghost Immortal punched it off him and swallowed it.

He turned into a scarlet light and gave chase.

The witnessing people commented on the situation.

“Nine Swords Sect and Myriad Mountains’ are stronger than I thought. To think they managed to wound the Ghost Immortal.”

“It only worked to enrage him. The Ghost Immortal will put them through Hell now.”

“Look there, the mountain they’re running towards!”

“Is that where Myriad Mountains’ Immortal Slayer is hiding?”

Chen Ling stood on top of Soaring Immortal Mountain along with Ling Bao’er and Foxy, watching the fight.

Ling Bao’er hesitated, “Master, the Immortal Crushing Array failed, will Dad be alright?”

Chen Changan rubbed her head.

“Don’t worry, your Father isn’t a fool. He and the rest will come back when they know they’re beaten.”

Chen Changan sighed, [I just hope they will be safe. An Immortal Slayer is no pushover. Nine Swords Sect and the Demons stand no chance.]

Chen Changan was invincible on Soaring Immortal Mountain only. He couldn’t help them beyond it. All he could do was pray the Ghost Immortal didn’t catch them before they got to Soaring Immortal Mountain.

“Master, they’re here!”

Ling Bao’er lit up and saw her Father and the rest closing in. They were wise enough to fight nearby Soaring Immortal Mountain.

“They’re back.” Chen Changan squinted.

The fleeing group got into the Absolute Domain.

Chen Changan popped before them.

“Senior, we failed you.”

They hoped to help him but were unable to withstand the sheer might of an Immortal Slayer, not even with the Immortal Crushing Array or the Mist Province Cauldron. They were ashamed.

Chen Changan regarded them, the wounded Nine Swords Sect Elders and the dying Ling Gao in Ling Hai’s arms.

As for the Myriad Mountains’ Demons, they were exhausted from pouring everything into the cauldron.

Ah’Miao had wielded it and was in the worst shape, overdrawing on her vitality to fight and putting her in a precarious position.

Chen Changan eased a breath.

“Why so down? The Ghost Immortal is not your match. It’s your win for fighting and coming out without any casualty.”

With a thought, the Immortal Energy focused above the group and fell down like rain.

Each drop was made of condensed Immortal Energy, healing their wounds and recovering their energy.

“We can’t thank you enough, Senior!”

Their guilt only mounted having ended up being the ones needing help instead.

Ah’Miao spoke, “Senior, the Ghost Immortal is too strong, even as an Immortal Slayer. Senior, y-you must be careful, nya.”

The Mist Province Cauldron was one of the strongest Artifacts in the Nine Province Continent, showcasing its true might in her Father’s hands, a powerful Immortal Slayer himself.

Due to her fight with the Ghost Immortal, Ah’Miao could feel his boundless strength.

She felt that not even her mighty Father with the Mist Province Cauldron would be able to win.

Chen Changan smiled. “The best even among Immortal Slayers, I understand.”

A howl wrecked the world around them. “For you to hide like rats here must mean the Immortal Slayer that killed the twelve Immortal Generals is also here! Show your ugly mug already!”

The Nine Swords Sect and the Demons watched with worry, while Chen Changan regarded the vile being with a flat look, muttering, “The Ghost Immortal sure is wild. I’ll be sure to beat the living shit out of him.”
