Kousuke was creating magical tools as usual. He did so while listening in on Towa’s activities and achievements at the school.
At the Sanctuary he had visited the other day, there was talk about granting a Divine Blessing to Kokoro. After some time, it seemed like Clara’s Divine Blessing had been granted without issue.
Sylvia had also come to talk about Kokoro suddenly receiving an oracle. It was of great surprise to the little girl.
Kokoro, just standing next to her mother, had her cheeks puff a little, causing Kousuke to laugh.
…
One morning, Peach reported that the Tower level had risen. It was the Northeast Tower, the one she managed
On that day, in addition to Floria and Sylvia, Shrein had gone to the town of vampires. So, only Collete, Peach, and Haku were present for breakfast.
Mitsuki was always by Kousuke’s side as a matter of course.
“So the Northeast Tower has finally leveled up. Was your prediction right?”
Collete asked Peach over dinner.
“You were right… Sand Scorpion was the condition, wasn’t it?”
“Sand Scorpion.”
Collete only nodded at Peach’s words, but Kousuke suddenly thought of something.
“Huh? Wasn’t there another monster with <Sand> in its name?”
“What? No?”
“No, there aren’t.”
“No? There isn’t, right?”
“There’s no ‘Sand’ monster in the Northeast Tower. There is a Sand Viper in another Tower though.”
“Oh. That’s in the North Tower, right?”
Collete responded to the familiar name.
“Ah, yes, the North Tower.”
Kousuke, whose memory had been jumbled, nodded in agreement.
In the first place, when Northwest Tower had leveled up, he had checked to see if there were any dependents that showed the same Element as the Tower.
Recently, the number of types of dependents in the Tower had increased, making it almost impossible for Kousuke to keep track of all of them.

Kousuke went with Peach to the Northeast tower.
They went there to confirm that the Sand Scorpion was there.
Sand Scorpions, as the name suggests, were giant scorpion monsters that inhabited desert areas.
The Northeastern Tower was a desert, as it was a Tower with the Earth Element.
It was mostly Scorpions that populated these deserts. Sand Scorpion being a species that evolved from Scorpions specifically for the desert.
“Yes. It’s definitely a Sand Scorpion.”
Kousuke assured himself as he checked the status of the Scorpion in front of him. It was strange when he first came to this world to see a Scorpion approach him in a nostalgic manner, but he had already gotten used to it.
Of course, he also confirmed that it has a title of a dependent.
“But then, Sand Scorpion is evoluted from Scorpion, right?”
“Yes, must be”
“I know it took a long time for the Earth Treasure to take effect, but why did it take longer than the Northwest Tower?”
They had already confirmed that it took longer for the treasure jewel to take effect. It was nevertheless still strange that it took longer for the Sand Scorpion to evolve as compared to the Wind Tiger in the Northwest Tower.
In fact, the Floor where the Scorpion was located was not that far from the Floor where the Earth Jewel was located. It was closer than the distance between the Floor where the Wind Tiger evolved in Northwest Tower and the Floor where the jewel was located.
“Well, about that…”
Kousuke asked with his head tilted as Peach stammered.
“Hmm? Is there something wrong?”
“No. Actually, I only summoned the Scorpions after the Northwest Tower had leveled up.”
“Really? Is that so?”
“Yes~. I was a little uncomfortable with bugs, you see.”
“Oh, I see. That makes sense.”
Kousuke also had monsters that he was physiologically uncomfortable with. Naturally, there were such monsters that could be summoned in the Tower. It was just that he did not summon them on purpose. After all, to him, it was just a pain for him to manage monsters he didn’t like.
“Huh? But then, doesn’t that mean they evolved extremely quickly into Sand Scorpions?”
“Yup.”
It had only been a few months since Northwest Tower Leveled up. That meant the evolution from Scorpion to Sand Scorpion took only around that amount of time.
Except for the early days of evolving dependents at Amamiya Tower, this was the first time in a long time that the dependents had evolved so quickly.
“Hmmm. Does that mean that as long as the environmental conditions are right, evolution can happen extremely quickly?”
“That may be so! There was even a case where I summoned something on a different Floor, and it evolved right away.”
“I see.”
It was often the case that dependents that did not evolve at all after summoning on one Floor would evolve immediately after summoning on another Floor.
The problem was that it takes time to ascertain which monster was right for which environment.
If the dependents were so easy to understand, such as the Scorpion, they could summon them by simply guessing what environment the summoned creature would live in. However, if they summoned a creature that they could often see regardless of the environment, it would be difficult to determine which environment would be suitable.

“I think this confirms that we need to evolve a creature that has the same Element as the Tower. Now, the question is whether we need to seriously consider the race of the summoned.”
Kousuke muttered as he came back to the Management Floor.
“Eh? That’s part of the requirements?”
Collete, who had overheard Kousuke’s muttering, was surprised.
“I don’t know, but I don’t think it would be surprising if there is such a condition.”
“Wow. That’s another hassle.”
As Kousuke had previously confirmed, the Southeast and Southwest Tower did not yet have dependents that had evolved which matched the Element of their respective Tower.
The level of those Towers should go up if they managed to evolve a dependent that matched the Element of the Tower.
Still, there was the possibility that the condition was not only evolution of a monster with the same element, but also a specific race had to be evolved.
It would be too much of a coincidence that both Northeast and Northwest Tower happened to evolve with a matching race that the Tower wanted.
“I suppose so. Well, aside from this time, I wouldn’t be surprised if a level up has a race requirement…”
“Uwah, that seems likely.”
“Certainly, considering Amamiya Tower, it seems likely~.”
Amamiya Tower’s Evolution Condition to reach level 10 was to have a deity.
Such a condition could not normally be met.
Nevertheless, Kousuke felt that it was not a big problem to search for the condition by evolving in a cursory manner.
Of course, it would normally be a daunting task to go through such trouble in one’s short life.
“I guess I should think about what’s the next matching summon and let it evolve in various ways according to its Elements~.”
Kousuke nodded at Peach’s words.
“I guess so. Well, there may be other conditions, though. Well, we could always try and slowly figure it out.”
“Yeah. But first, we need to find a race that can evolve with said Elements.”
“We also need to find a matching environment in the other two Towers.”
Currently, neither Floria nor Sylvia have nearly enough control over their Towers.
The Southeast and Southwest Towers were being managed by other members of the group. Of course, Kousuke also helped out.
“Do you think we can look for the Element needed for evolution first?”
“I don’t know. I hope I’m right about what I’m working on right now.”
Since Northwest Tower had a dependent evolve before, Kousuke had been summoning various dependents and testing their evolution.
If his predictions and hunches were right, he would see the results of that soon.
With the level up condition found at the Northeast Tower, Kousuke’s expectations for the other two Towers to level up got raised.
