Silently gazing at the crystalline, diamond-like ethereal Principle Marks swirling around him, Yu Zi Yu’s eyes gleamed with thought.
There were only twelve Principle Marks, yet, these twelve phantasmal crystals floating around him radiated waves of rippling energy through the surrounding space.
It was a breathtaking sight, no doubt. But Yu Zi Yu understood all too well the terrifying truth hidden behind their beauty.
Wherever these crystalline Principle Marks passed, it was as though the fabric of space itself tore apart.
And if this energy were to land on a living being, it would be akin to the fabled Dimensional Slash, tearing Space apart in an instant.
Even more terrifying was the nature of such an attack: it targeted Space itself.
No matter how formidable one’s defenses might be, if they lacked the ability to guard against Space Principles, their defenses would crumble like paper.
Should Yu Zi Yu unleash these diamond-shaped crystals, they would transform into streaks of ghostly light, darting toward his enemies.
The moment they made contact, they would bypass the flesh entirely, striking directly at the internal organs.
It would be utterly devastating.
Yet, this was merely the most rudimentary use of the Marks of Space Principles, just the most rudimentary.
Because with a single thought, Yu Zi Yu could arrange these twelve crystalline Principle Marks into a Space Portal, granting him the ability to traverse vast distances instantaneously.
This was the first ability bestowed upon his Void Elf Form upon ascending to Tier-6, Space Portal.
Space Portal — Using twelve diamond-like phantasmal crystals, a portal can be formed. This portal stands as tall as a person and allows interstellar travel with minimal consumption of Spiritual Energy. |
This single ability alone was enough to demonstrate the overwhelming might of the Space Principle.
*Tsk tsk…* Clicking his tongue in awe, Yu Zi Yu could not help but marvel.
If he managed to condense 129,600 such Space Principle Marks, these diamond-shaped phantasm crystals, he could effortlessly carry an entire planet across the stars.
After all, the more Principle Marks he condensed, the greater the power he wielded.
With merely twelve, he could travel alone.
With 108, he could transport a group of Tier-6 Transcendents.
And when the day came that he reached 129,600, fully embodying the Space Principle and ascending to the Realm of Hegemony, a mere flick of his hand would open up a Space Pocket vast enough to swallow entire planets.
[To move entire worlds with a wave of my hand…] At this thought, Yu Zi Yu sighed deeply, admiring the unparalleled strength of the Space Principle.
“No wonder it’s considered one of the strongest Higher Order Principles. Its power is undeniable…” Smirking slightly, Yu Zi Yu clasped his hands behind his back, gazing down at the countless beings on the ground below.
“We offer our heartfelt congratulations to the Star God for ascending to Tier-6 and becoming an Eternal Overlord!”
“We offer our congratulations…”
Their synchronized commendation echoed like crashing waves, each crescendoing higher than the last, shaking even the entire Celestial Realm.
And then, as if to both display his power and instill awe—
Yu Zi Yu slowly raised his hand.
*Boooom…* A deafening roar reverberated as a violet longbow materialized in Yu Zi Yu’s hand.
The Star Bow, the Void Elf Form’s Innate Artifact, strung with the threads of the space and drawing upon the stars as its arrows.
Now, with his ascension to Tier-6, the Star Bow had evolved alongside him, becoming a weapon worthy of his current might.
And now, grasping the Star Bow in his hand, he gently drew the bowstring.
*Hum…* A resonant hum echoed through the air as countless starlit fragments began to converge.
Gradually, a starlight arrow over a meter long took form as Yu Zi Yu drew the Star Bow.
Yet, this was far from its full potential.
At that moment, the diamond-shaped crystals orbiting Yu Zi Yu suddenly surged toward the arrow’s tip, streaking through the air like shooting stars.
In the blink of an eye, these phantasmal crystals converged and formed a six-pointed star pattern.
The starlight arrow aligned perfectly with the heart of this star-shaped sigil.
“This is… the Star Arrow, imbued with the power of space,” Yu Zi Yu murmured, as he release the bowstring.
*Boooooom…* A thunderous explosion echoed as the arrow of starlight shot forth, leaving rippling distortions in its wake.
Moments later, a Space Vortex emerged at the tip of the Star Arrow, spinning violently.
*Boooooom…* Another resounding roar followed. The Star Arrow seemed to defy the limits of time and space, vanishing from sight in the blink of an eye.
The onlookers barely had time to react when—
*Boooooom…* Far away, across an unfathomable distance, the Sun itself trembled violently.
A massive eruption of fiery waves surged outward, visible even from the skies of the Moon. The enormous explosion on the Sun’s surface was unmistakable, lighting up the distant sky.
Although the affected area was minuscule compared to the Sun’s vastness, the eruption spanned millions of miles, a testament to the sheer power of the attack.
*Gulp…* A collective gulp spread through the ranks of the denizens of the Celestial Realm, their faces frozen in shock.
Even the likes of Nine Tails and Golden Monkey, beings of extraordinary strength and experience, couldn’t stop the twitching at the corners of their eyes.
It wasn’t merely the destructive force of the attack that left them reeling—it was the distance.
The arrow had crossed the vast expanse between the Moon and the Sun in the blink of an eye.
[This…] Even Golden Monkey, well-traveled and knowledgeable, found it hard to believe.
And then, breaking the dead silence of the battlefield, a youthful voice suddenly piped up, “Master, master! The legend of Hou Yi shooting down the Suns must be true! Look, the Star God just shot an arrow straight into the Sun!”
“Uh…” A wave of awkwardness swept through the crowd as countless pairs of eyes turned toward the source of the voice.
The speaker was a small, dark and shadowy figure, its body exuding an inexplicable ghastly glow.
It was none other than the famed God-Devouring Rat, one of the five rising stars of the Demonic Court.
But at that moment, as all eyes turned toward the young God-Devouring Rat, his Master, the Metal Devourer, felt his forehead crease with frustration.
[This little troublemaker, he’s really screwing with his Master! On such a solemn occasion, how dare he shout so loudly?]
Author’s Note:
The number of Principle Marks condensed directly correlates to their power.
For Higher Order Principles, the standard number of imprints is 129,600.
For Intermediate Order Principles, the number is 19,800.
For Lower Order Principles, it’s only 1,800.
However, merely condensing Marks of Lower Order Principle is insufficient to reach the Realm of Hegemony. At the very least, Marks of Intermediate Order Principle are required.
