Upon concluding his communication with King Ernest, Kousuke turned to Kouhi and handed over the communication device. “I need you to deliver this letter to the captain,” he said.

Kouhi nodded firmly, immediately understanding the gravity of Kousuke’s request. “Understood.”

    “Yuta,” Kousuke called out.

“Yes, what is it?” Yuta emerged promptly.

Though Kousuke had given her a name, he noticed she remained in the same state as Esena. He proceeded cautiously, “Kouhi will need to use teleportation now. Would that be acceptable?”

    “Sure,” Yuta replied without hesitation.

“Thank you. Please wait while I write the letter.”

As Kousuke began writing, two distinct reactions emerged from the onlookers. The Tower group observed him in reverent silence, while the Sewri Village group watched with unconcealed amazement.

Once finished, Kousuke handed the letter to Kouhi, who accepted it with a nod. “Leave it to me,” Kouhi assured him.

    “Yes. Thanks.” Kousuke responded.

With Yuta’s permission enabling passage through the barrier, Kouhi vanished instantly using teleportation magic. Her destination was the town where Kousuke’s group had rested before entering Sewri Forest.

Intelligence suggested the military unit they had encountered would remain there for several days, making it the perfect opportunity to deliver the letter explaining the situation to their captain.

Though there existed a possibility that the unit itself was involved in recent events, Kousuke’s intuition suggested otherwise. Whether this intuitive ability stemmed from his ascension to becoming a Living God or had always been latent within him remained unclear, but his hunches had proven remarkably accurate of late.

Meanwhile, Collete took it upon herself to brief Romana and Shiomala, who struggled to process the whirlwind of events that had begun with the unexpected royal communication. Their visible bewilderment prompted Collete to comment teasingly, “If this leaves you at your wits’ end, you’ll never keep pace with Kousuke’s usual activities.”

Romana’s surprise at Collete’s casual tone was evident, while Shiomala shook her head in resignation. “Once this matter concludes, he’ll depart from our village, won’t he?”

Shiomala began, but Collete cut her off with a shake of her head.

“That’s rather naive thinking,” Collete responded.

    “What do you mean?”

“Kousuke has formed a bond with Lady Yuta now. He, I mean we, can’t simply bid farewell and walk away.” Collete explained.

Both Shiomala and Romana grimaced at this revelation.

“That’s precisely why we’re addressing all the village’s current troubles.” Kousuke interjected, returning from his letter-writing task.

“Exactly what I expected of you, dear!” Collete exclaimed, draping herself around Kousuke’s neck affectionately. “You’re trying to resolve this village’s fundamental problems, aren’t you?”

Kousuke offered a wry smile at Collete’s demonstrative behavior, while Romana’s eyes widened further. Shiomala appeared thoroughly overwhelmed.

“Was it unnecessary for me to do so?” Kousuke asked, tilting his head while Collete maintained her hold on him.

“Not at all. This village will naturally follow Lady Yuta’s lead anyway.”

    “Really?” Kousuke countered.

“Kousuke, don’t compare these Elves with those from the other village. Their World Tree remains active here,” Collete reminded him. Kousuke nodded, acknowledging her superior knowledge of the village.

“Well, I wasn’t planning any relocations.” Ge clarified.

“Oh? What did you have in mind then?”

“I thought installing a gate here might make a significant difference.”

Collete clasped her hands together enthusiastically. “I see. That could be an excellent solution.”

Shiomala, sensing the magnitude of decisions being made without proper consultation, hastily joined the conversation. Recent days had demonstrated the formidable impact of Kousuke and Collete’s synchronized planning—after all, their simple ritual assistance had resulted in the descent of one of the world’s three Great Goddesses.

“Wait, Collete. Are you suggesting something outrageous?” Shiomala’s typically composed demeanor showed signs of strain.

Kousuke and Collete responded in perfect unison: “No no no.” “Not at all.”

Seeing Shiomala and Romana’s expectant looks, Collete elaborated on the plan to connect the World Tree in the Tower to Sewri Village via a teleportation gate.

“You’re proposing free travel between the Tower’s Elf village and ours?” Romana asked, looking stunned as Kousuke confirmed with a nod.

“It’s preferable to suddenly being forced to integrate with humans, right? The Tower’s Eld village is exclusively Elves, after all.” Kousuke explained.

Collete added, “Plus, it might improve the birth rate.”

“What?!” Romana, who had remained largely silent, seized upon this detail. As the village representative, population growth was a critical concern.

“Thanks to the Living God, the Tower village’s birth rate has increased significantly,” Collete explained with a shrug, but Kousuke quickly intervened.

“Wait, I have no control over birth rates.”

“Perhaps not directly, but you’ve definitely influenced the increase, haven’t you?”

As Kousuke and Collete bantered, Romana pressed for more information, her expression grave enough to silence Shiomala’s protests.

Collete provided a detailed explanation of the Tower Village’s current situation.

After careful consideration, Romana bowed deeply to Kousuke. “I apologize, but given our circumstances, I cannot immediately authorize the gate. Could you wait a few days?”

“That’s fine, but are you certain it will be accepted?”

Romana nodded firmly. “Most likely… To be frank, our birth rate crisis is severe enough that we’re desperate for solutions.”

Given the gravity of the situation, any possibility of improvement would likely gain support.

“Besides,” Romana added with a cunning smile, “if there’s opposition, we can always install the gate by force, no?”

Shiomala, observing from a distance as Kousuke and Collete mirrored Romana’s expression, would later recount, ‘The three of them wore identical devilish smiles when planning Yuta’s great change.’

And so began the momentous transformation that would connect the Tower village and Sewri Forest village through a teleportation gate, forever changing both communities.
