His Highness’ brusque words brought a questioning look to Lady Violet’s face, who had been responding to him without changing an expression until then.

Hearing those words surprised not just Lady Violet, but also Ms. Mary, Mr. Burnt and Ms. Amber. However, Lady Violet quickly returned to her normal expression and bowed to His Highness.

His Highness moodily replied to her without looking at her, and then walked off to leave the place.

However, before returning to the venue, His Highness stopped as if he remembered something, turned around and for some reason looked at me first before looking back at Lady Violet.
“You look good in your dress today. I can’t feel your previous haughtiness anymore. Whoever made that dress must have sewn it with you in mind— you should cherish it. It’s a good thing to have somebody who cares about you.”
For a moment, Lady Violet looked taken aback by those words, before replying with a small smile.
“Yes, of course. I will cherish it… What you have said has made me the happiest I have ever been with your words.”
His Highness heard Lady Violet’s words, looked at her expression, and then finally left for the party venue without replying.
Ms. Mary also bowed and followed behind His Highness.
“I see, so that’s how Violet’s smile looks… It has certainly been a long time since I’ve seen it.”
His Highness muttered something, but due to the distance and the noise I was unable to hear it.
